Haver-Cones made from metal wire cloth

for the determination of the water retention capacity - of granular products using the Westinghouse-Methode

 

HAVER-Cones made from metal wire cloth are delivered with a stainless steel wire, 3 mm diameter, that can be clipped onto the rim of the cone. This enables the HAVER-Cone to be placed on the edge of a beaker when dipping the material into a liquid.

The HAVER-Cone corresponds to the European standard prEN15366:2005 “Winter and road service area maintenance equipment – Solid absorbents intended for road usage”. It also corresponds to the French standard NF V 19-002 for pet litters – determination of absorbent ower – water retention capacity.
